Free Outdoor Films at Piazza Carmel, Aug 2011

The San Diego Asian Film Foundation is holding a free summer films festival at the Piazza Carmel Shopping Plaza in Carmel Valley this August.  The festival, which features family friendly films, premieres on August 3 with the film HOOK.  Dante Basco, who plays the iconic Rufio in HOOK, will be in attendance for Q+A during the kick-off event.   Entertainment begins at 7:00 pm in the Food Court, with the films starting at 8:00 pm.

All movies on Wednesdays at 8:00 pm. The full schedule is: Aug. 3 - HOOK (1991); Aug. 10 - E.T. THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL (1982); Aug. 17 - THE KARATE KID (Original) (1984); Aug. 24 - TOY STORY 3 (2010); Aug. 31 - THE GOONIES (1985).
